Chicken Tandoori

Ingredients:-

  • 500 gms plain Yogurt
  • Quarter Cup lime juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp salt
  • Quarter tsp turmeric
  • Half tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1.5 tsp ground ginger
  • one-eighth tsp cayenne pepper
  • 3 whole chicken breasts, spilt
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 large green pepper, finely chopped
 

Method:-

  1. In large bowl, combine yogurt, lime juice, garlic, salt, turmeric,
    coriander, cumin, ginger, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Stir to mix.
  3. Add chicken pieces and toss to coat. Cover chicken peppers and onions.
  4. Cover and chill overnight (or longer). 
  5. Prepare hot coals.
  6. Grill chicken for 8-10 minutes on each side or until done, basting frequently with marinade.
