Mutton stew recipe

 

Ingredients:-

  • Mutton ——- 1/2 kg
  • Salt ——- To taste
  • Garlic ——- 8-10 cloves crushed
  • Ginger ——- 2 inch pieced, sliced thinly
  • Onion ——- 250gms,(1 1/2 cups) roughly chopped
  • Red chillies ——- 1 tsp chopped
  • Red chilli powder ——- 1/2 tsp
  • Dry coriander ——- 1 tbsp
  • White cumin ——- 1tbsp
  • Red chilli whole ——- 6-8
  • Bay leaves ——- 1-2
  • Cinnamon ——- 1-2 pieces
  • Black pepper whole ——- 6-8
  • Big cardamom ——- 2-3
  • Yoghurt ——- 1 cup
  • Oil ——- as required

Method:

  1. In meat add all the ingredients and 4 tbsp of oil and cook for 8-10 minutes .
  2. Then keep the meat on low heat to cook till it tenderizes.
  3. Then add remaining oil and cook on low flame for 5 minutes more.
  4. serve garnished.
