Dal mash fried

Ingredients:-

  • 250 gms —– Dal Mash, washed
  • 1/4 cup —– Ghee
  • 1 tbsp —– Ginger Chopped
  • 1 —– Onion Finely chopped in slices
  • 1 tbsp —– Garlic chopped
  • Mint leaves, chopped
  • 1 —– Onion chopped
  • 1 tsp —– Cumin, roasted and ground
  • 6 —– Whole red Chilies, Crushed
  • 1 tsp —– white cumin Whole
  • 2 cups —– Water

Method:-

  1. Soak dal for an hour and cook in water with all the ingredients except cumin, mint and sliced onion on a medium flame until water dries.
  2. Now covered the pot and cook continue in a very low heat for 8-10 minutes or until dal becomes soft.
  3. In the meantime fry onion in a ghee until onion becomes light brown.
  4. Now sprinkle mint leaves, cumin and fried onion with ghee on top of dal.
  5. Serve hot.
Kidney beans vadai

Ingredients:-

  • 2 Cups ——– Kidney beans soaked
  • 1 Inch ——– Chopped ginger
  • 2 ——– Onion, chopped
  • 5 ——– Green chilies, finely chopped
  • Coriander & curry leave, finely chopped
  • Salt ——– to taste
  • Oil ——– for frying
 

Method:-

  1. Coarse grind kidney beans with little water to make a thick paste.
  2. Add remaining ingredients & mix well.
  3. Moisten your palms and make a round petty with 2 tbsp mixture on your palm.
  4. Drop it in hot oil & deep-fry till golden brown. Repeat till the
    batter is over.
  5. Server with mint Chutney
