Cheese Paratha recipes

Ingredients:-

  • 2 cups —- Wheat flour
  • 1 cup —- Grated cottage cheese, for garnishing
  • Oil —- for frying

For Filling:

  • 2 cups —- grated cheese
  • Quarter tsp —- each, cumin seeds & powder
  • 1 tbsp —- coriander powder
  • 8 —- green chilies, finely chopped
  • One inch —- ginger, finely chopped
  • Chopped coriander —- as desired

Method:

  1. Heat 1 tsp oil & splutter cumin seeds.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, except cheese & sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add cheese & coriander, mix & let it cool. Mash with your hands.
  4. Mix flour, salt & water & knead into stiff dough.
  5. Cover & keep aside for two hours.
  6. Make ball of the dough & roll out into thin discs.
  7. Sprinkle a portion of the filling on a disc & close with another.
  8. Seal edges & cook on a hot griddle till golden brown on both sides drizzling 1 tsp oil.
  9. Garnish with grated cheese & server hot.

Ingredients:-

  • 6 cups —- Maida (white flour)
  • 6 tsp —- Milk powder
  • 1 cup —- Evaporated milk
  • 5-7 tsp —- Sugar
  • 200 gm —- Oil
  • 2 tsp —- Baking powder
  • 3 tsp —- Yeast
  • 1 —- Egg

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients well.
  2. Pour this into the center of the flour and knead adding water if necessary to form soft dough.
  3. Cover with a wet cloth and let it sit at room temperature for 2-3 hours.
  4. Now divide the dough into 11 to 12 balls.
  5. Roll out into flat round shape and make sure it is as thick as a pizza’s crust.
  6. Bake in oven at 350′ and take it out when it is light brownish color.
  7. Server hot as supporting dish with any Qorma, Kebab, Curry, Handi etc.

Ingredients:-

  • 500gms ——– white flour
  • 200gms ——– butter or margarine
  • 200ml ——– water, cold
  • 100ml ——– milk, cold
  • 65gms ——– Sugar
  • 20gms ——– yeast
  • 10gms ——– salt
  • 2 ——– eggs

Method:-

  1. Mix all the ingredients, except butter, well.
  2. Let the dough stand at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  3. Make a whole in the dough from the top & put butter inside. Close the
    dough.
  4. Now roll it into a sheet, give it one fold & place it in the refrigerator
    for about 15 minutes.
  5. Repeat the same process till you have 3 folds.
  6. Cut the rolled-out dough into pieces (about 35 gms each). Roll out each
    piece into a 3mm thickness square.
  7. Cut diagonally into a triangle & roll from the cut side towards the
    tip.
  8. Seal the edges and glaze with the egg white.
  9. Bake at 200 degrees C for 12 minutes.
  10. Server with tea or Milk for your breakfast or make a sandwich.

Ingredients:-

  • 2 cup —– Whole Wheat Flour (Aata) 
  • Water
  • ¼ tsp. —– Salt (optional) 

Method:

  1. To make a dough, Mix flour and salt and add water slowly and Knead well.
  2. After kneaded set dough aside for about 10 minutes.
  3. Take a little portion of the dough to form a ball about 1 ½ inches in diameter.
  4. Rolled out this balls into discs (lightly floured surface).
  5. Pat it back and forth between your hands until it becomes thin. (Patting makes the chapati puff up when baked.)
  6. Cook it on an un-greased tawa until it is start change its color to hazel color.
  7. Now take it Roti from Tawa and put it on direct flame (both side) until puffy and cooked.
  8. Served as supporting dish with any curry food
