Shrimp tempura
Ingredients:-
1 cup —– Sifted flour
1 cup —– Ice cold water
1 egg yolk
2 tbsp —– Soy sauce
1 pound —– Large shrimp, peeled and divined
Vegetable oil for frying
Method:-
Prepare the batter by mixing together the flour, water, egg yolk and soy sauce.
Heat oil in a wok or deep fryer. Dip shrimps into the batter one by one and fry in the hot oil till lightly browned.
Drain shrimps on paper towel.
Serve.
