Shrimp tempura

Ingredients:-

  • 1 cup —– Sifted flour
  • 1 cup —– Ice cold water
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp —– Soy sauce
  • 1 pound —– Large shrimp, peeled and divined
  • Vegetable oil for frying
 

Method:-

  1. Prepare the batter by mixing together the flour, water, egg yolk and soy sauce.
  2. Heat oil in a wok or deep fryer. Dip shrimps into the batter one by one and fry in the hot oil till lightly browned.
  3. Drain shrimps on paper towel.
  4. Serve.
